Countdown to Kickoff, the inaugural event hosted by brothers Jon and Matt Stinchcomb on July 15 was a huge success, raising more than $80,000 for GTF, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and The UGA College of Education.

More than 1,200 people showed up at the UGA practice fields on Saturday to spend the afternoon with the different current and former UGA standouts and NFL players.  Fans waited in line, footballs in tow, to meet and get autographs from players like Ben Watson, Buck Belue, Garrison Hearst, Jermaine Phillips, and Mohamed Massaquoi, only a few of the players that came out to support the local causes.

The fans also got the chance to take pictures with Uga IV and Hairy Dawg, run drills with Jon and Matt Stinchcomb, have their faces painted by the UGA cheerleaders and enjoy the games provided by Fun-tastic. 

Food was provided by Chick fil-A, and Q100 played music for the fans.  Baskets containing UGA memorabilia were also raffled off at the end of the event.  Countdown to Kickoff t-shirts and footballs were available as well.
