Financial Planning Seminar View Calendar

workshop that covers the important issues in developing a plan for how to live successfully with a transplanted organ. Includes planning for post-transplant medications and other needs through successful fundraising. The class teaches grass roots fundraising, organizing a fundraising committee and creating ideas for fundraising events. It is taught monthly in Atlanta and at each Trends in Transplant conference around the state.


Mentor Project Workshop View Calendar

The Mentor Project workshop is designed to enhance the special skills gained from the transplant experience. During the course of the half-day seminar, mentors are empowered with the skills that help bring hope and counsel to those new to the world of transplantation. Mentor candidates are post-transplant patients referred by the transplant teams.


Trends in Transplant Conferences View Calendar

One-day seminars hosted in designated outreach areas across Georgia covering medical issues of wellness and transplantation, as well as GTF programs and services.


Marriage Retreats View Calendar

A marriage enrichment weekend retreat for transplant recipients and their spouses/significant others. The program is open to all couples whose spouse or child has received an organ transplant. The goal is to enable couples to learn skills and to share experiences that help to increase their mutual understanding and commitment to each other.


411 Transplant Information Learn More

Georgia Transplant 411 is a comprehensive information source for all transplant recipients and candidates. GTF provides information and support through printed materials, staff support, and patient educational activities.


Education and Training Grant Program View Calendar

Provides financial grants for short-term training that ensures expedient entry into the workforce. The training program must be recommended by a JumpStart Counselor, be an accredited program of less than 12 months, and is based on financial need. The program is available to transplant recipients, the spouse of a recipient, or the parent of a transplanted child and has other eligibilty critera.
