Description:
Kidney Ride for Life For Gary Bales
The Red Knights, GA-Chapter 4 is sponsoring a
KIDNEY RIDE FOR LIFE
. Gary Bales, a former firefighter, had previously gone through a kidney transplant in 1984. That donor kidney is now beginning to shut down. His sister is a match and is donating one of her kidneys, but hospital and medication expenses will be astronomical.
To assist with some of the expenses, the RED KNIGHTS are asking all motorcycle riders to participate in this event. The cost is $20.00 per motorcycle and $5.00 per additional rider.
The ride will start at the VFW in Dalton, GA., and ride to Vonore, TN fire station.
There will hotdogs and sodas for lunch and then ride back to the VFW in Dalton for an auction.
Anyone is welcome to join. Hospitality and sponsorship will be provided by the Red Knights, GA-Chapter 4. This is an opportunity to help a most deserving individual as well as make a real difference in his life.

FACT: The cost of immunosuppressive medications typically ranges from $20,600 to $32,900 per year and even with insurance, co-pays can be unaffordable.
Fundraising is a matter of life and death for some transplant candidates, and a matter of quality of life for others. Your generous donation will help this client’s endeavors to assume self-responsibility for his or her medical needs by fundraising.
